    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary

    The Junior Sales Associate is responsible for assisting Sales Associates with all aspects of daily activity. Further, the position will be counted on to maintain and build client/lender relationships by demonstrating an expertise in all aspects of correspondent lending's policies and procedures. This position will work closely with the entire Correspondent Team to facilitate exceptional service to clients, Sales Associates, Regional Managers, and all FMC employees.

    Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in the development of relationships with potential clients, existing clients, and industry partners.
  • Support and provide assistance to the Sales Associates with all aspects of daily activity.
  • Work directly with external clients to assist with all aspects of their day-to-day needs.
  • Provide full back up support for Sales Associates as needed.
  • Supports and provides assistance to the Regional Managers with all aspects of SPG processes and policies.
  • Provide assistance to the Regional Managers with day-to-day activities in order to maximize sales production levels to include, but not limited to, supporting the business development activities and programs.
  • Assist with advanced administration support of complex business functions/programs and projects.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services, as well as knowledge of the industry. Keeps abreast of current developments and market trends, to further identify and service the clients' needs.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Other Related Duties:

    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor's degree ( from four-year College or University; two (2) to four (4) years mortgage banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    Thorough understanding and experience with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

    Language Skills:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or Governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to work with secondary marketing concepts and calculations as it relates to points, price, and rates. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
