    Description


    Under general direction from the Controller; organizes, plans and manages all accounting activities and services of the General Ledger Accounting, and Accounts Payable, and Shipping & Receiving areas of the department.

    Ensures all accounting functions are performed in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and applicable tribal, state, and federal laws, rules and regulations.

    Maintains strict confidentiality of privileged information.

    Minimum Qualifications:


    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance plus five (5) years of accounting experience to include two (2) years casino accounting experience and two (2) years a supervisory capacity.

    Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be twenty-one years (21) of age. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
