- Se asegura de que los niños estén en el tipo de asiento apropiado y estén seguros.
- Entrega menús de comida y vino; responde preguntas.
- Llena los vasos con agua helada y sugiere platos del menú.
- Asegura que se proporcionen los números de cuentas y nombres correctos para la facturación.
- Sirve alimentos y bebidas de manera eficiente y amigable, ofrece sugerencias sobre especiales diarios y selecciones de vinos.
- Realiza pedidos a la cocina a través del Sistema POS; informa a los cocineros sobre cualquier instrucción especial de cocina.
- Ensambla la comida en la bandeja; obtiene artículos de cada estación según sea necesario.
- Sirve las comidas; coloca platos por platos frente a cada persona siguiendo los Pasos de Servicio de Orchid Island establecidos.
- Consulta para garantizar la satisfacción de los miembros e invitados; repone agua y mantequilla según sea necesario.
- Retira los platos sucios. Limpia las mesas después de cada plato y las reajusta con cubiertos apropiados.
- Presenta menús de postres, sugiere y sirve postres, café y bebidas después de la cena.
- Verifica la precisión de los precios, impuestos estatales y federales, propinas y otros cargos en todas las cuentas.
- Presenta la cuenta.
- Mantiene limpias las áreas del comedor y de la estación de autobuses.
- Limpia, limpia y reajusta las mesas que han sido desocupadas.
- Informa al supervisor de cualquier queja tan pronto como ocurra.
- Realiza tareas de limpieza y cierre asignadas por el gerente.
- Asiste a reuniones previas a la comida según lo solicitado por el Capitán del Comedor, Supervisor del Comedor, Gerente del Comedor o Gerente de Alimentos y Bebidas.
- Entrega el formulario de hoja de tiempo firmada semanalmente.
- Agradece a los miembros e invitados; los invita a regresar.
- Sigue consistentemente las leyes locales y estatales y las políticas y procedimientos del club para el servicio de bebidas alcohólicas a los miembros e invitados.
- Realiza otras tareas apropiadas asignadas por el Capitán del Comedor, Supervisor del Comedor, Gerente del Comedor o Gerente de Alimentos y Bebidas.
- Licencias y Requisitos Especiales:
- Certificación en seguridad alimentaria.
- Mayoría de edad para servir bebidas alcohólicas
- Condiciones de Trabajo y Requisitos Físicos:
- Se requiere estar de pie durante largos períodos y caminar, subir escaleras, equilibrarse, agacharse, arrodillarse, cuclillas, estirarse y torcerse o alcanzar.
- Movimientos repetitivos continuos, estar de pie, caminar y levantar.
- Capacidad para levantar 10-30 lbs con frecuencia; Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 lbs según sea necesario.
- Capacidad para mover muebles del comedor para cumplir con los cambios en el diseño del plan de piso para satisfacer las necesidades del comedor.
- Determinación física para trabajar en un entorno cálido, húmedo y ruidoso.
- Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre en las condiciones climáticas y temperaturas típicas de Florida.
- El horario de trabajo incluye días de la semana, tardes, fines de semana, festivos según sea necesario para satisfacer las necesidades operativas del comedor. Los turnos de trabajo variarán sujeto a almuerzos, cenas y eventos especiales. Ocasionalmente puede ser necesario comenzar temprano, a las 6:30 a. m., típicamente 4-6 veces al año.
