    JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


    Penn State Outreach and Online Education (OOE) creative services team is looking for an experienced production coordinator to manage the planning scheduling, resourcing, and delivery of small- and large-scale creative projects.

    Reporting to creative services director, the production coordinator will help ensure that project staffing, goals, timelines, deliverables, and workflows are clearly established and communicated, then kept on schedule.

    The successful candidates should have experience collaborating with designers, writers, editors, strategists, project managers, internal/external clients on a wide variety of marketing campaigns and collateral.

    In addition, they will possess excellent verbal and written communication and diplomacy skills, pay close attention to detail, and be adept at working independently and in a multi-team collaborative environment.

    Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 and robust project management software like Adobe Workfront or a similar platform is essential.


    Responsibilities include:

    Receiving and organizing input and strategy for creative project requestsProactively identifying omissions or potential obstacles in project requests as well as projects in progressCreating project schedules and assigning work to the creative staff (team)Working with creative director and other marketing leaders to prioritize work requestsMonitoring and reporting creative -team workloadsMonitoring the status of all active projectsRouting proofs to stakeholdersIdentify potential scope creep and elevate to creative directorConsulting with key stakeholders to help meet goals, strategies, and expectationsCollaborating with Workfront administrators to adjust and maintain project request forms and schedule templatesProvide quality control for input and output at each step of the processMaintaining project recordsTypically requires an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    While not central to the position, skills in email marketing coordination and print purchasing would be beneficial.

    The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:
