    Description

    By becoming a part of Chubb's North American Multinational crew, you'll play a key role in developing and integrating our underwriting systems and top-notch agent/client facing platforms for Multinational insurance products. Within our team, you'll get the chance to collaborate with our insurance pros, team up with tech experts in the US, Canada, and India to provide top-notch software solutions to drive the digitalization of our expanding line of business. We are on the lookout for individuals with strong critical thinking skills, solid programming capabilities, and a drive for crafting innovative solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, create, and roll out user-friendly, scalable, and high-quality software applications utilizing Java, Spring boot, Angular, and .NET Core frameworks
    • Engage in the full software development cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
    • Execute design in line with specifications, ensuring compliance with development best practices
    • Collaborate with fellow developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to grasp and clarify requirements
    • Diagnose and fix web applications to ensure top-notch performance and functionality
    • Stick to project timelines and deliver work punctually

    Location:

    While Whitehouse Station is the preferred location, options also include Philadelphia and Jersey City. Some travel (10 – 20%) might be necessary.

    • Minimum of 2 years of exposure to Java as the primary programming language along with web development frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
    • 2 years of practical experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular (12 and above)
    • Familiarity with or hands-on experience in SQL or NoSQL Database
    • Experience with Git, ExpoCI/CD pipelines employing Jenkins
    • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
