    You will support the development, analysis and modeling of operational, economic, management, accounting and other organizational data to measure the competitive performance of business segments, evaluate potential operational changes, and design new approaches and methodologies. You will analyze organizational data to recommend solutions to new and complex problems, develop strategies, quantify the competitive performance of our operations or markets; models and evaluate the potential impact of changes. You will report to the Data Scientist Manager.

    Primary Accountabilities

    • You will leverages machine learning and predictive modeling projects across a variety of problem domains or business initiatives, building predictive models to support partner goals and our needs.
    • You will help with the manipulation and investigation of datasets and formulates data requirements and model specifications needed for development.
    • You will work with partners and domain experts to identify important questions.
    • You will work with domain experts, develops problem definition, analytical approach, and research design for modeling projects.
    • You will work with partners, both internal and external, to identify new opportunities and challenges.
    • You will participate in the selection of research technologies, design of a common research process, and brainstorming new opportunities and methodologies.
    • You will research and maintain awareness of industry best practices and business strategies.
    • You will bring in new ideas and approaches to develop business.

    Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

    • You will need experience providing customer-oriented solutions or support.
    • You will need proficiency in programming languages suitable for database access, scripting, and statistical analysis.
    • You will need to be Familiar with version control for software development.
    • You will need to have experience using large amounts of structured, semi structured, and unstructured data.
    • You need to have experience formulating, approaching, analyzing and solving problems on massive datasets.
    • You will need to have knowledge managing data to grow using data summarization, query and analysis software and tools.

    In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Nashville, TN 37214
