    Description

    The Department of Endocrine Neoplasia and Hormonal Disorders at the MD Anderson Cancer Center features a comprehensive research program on Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer (ATC) which studies its molecular genomics and the best treatment approaches for the management of the disease. This includes analyzing copy number changes with targeted sequencing data of patients with ATC.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    The candidate will learn to understand the molecular genomics of Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer, the traditional management of stage IVB ATC, and the use of adjuvant anti-PD1 checkpoint inhibitors for stage IVB ATC by collecting and learning to analyze data on patients treated with these inhibitors.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    The candidate must have a recent PhD in genetic or molecular biology, or endocrinology.

    POSITION INFORMATION

    MD Anderson follows the NIH stipend levels as outlined by the Kirchstein - NRSA ) . This full-time trainee position will provide a salary between $56,484 to $68,604, dependent upon the years of postgraduate experience.
