    CLASS 8 FLEET MECHANIC | RICHMOND, CA


    SUMMARY:
    Join our team in Richmond, CA as a Company Owned Fleet Mechanic. Day Shift, a 5/2 Schedule (i.e. Monday - Friday), with flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate.

    As a key player in our operations, you'll be the go-to expert for performing/scheduling preventative maintenance and minor repairs on class 8 tractors, trucks, and petroleum tank trailers.

    You will be provided with the tools necessary to perform troubleshooting of systems and/or components. Your skills will be the driving force behind our success. Additionally, you'll be responsible for inputting purchase and repair data into the maintenance software program (TMT). We will train on areas necessary.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Class 8 tractor knowledge required; experience with tank trailers is a plus.
    Preferred knowledge of maintenance software (TMT - will train)
    Preferably meets qualifications to perform FMSCA annual inspections
    Preferred possession of a Clean MVR - Class A CDL (for road tests to verify repairs only)
    Successful completion of a physical, drug test, and criminal background check is required
