May 1 through August 31, flexible daytime hours.

Hourly Rate:
$18.00
Primary Function:
Custodian Assistants perform custodial work with minimal supervision assisting with the routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings including, but not limited to, cleaning of carpeted, tile, wood and other floor surfaces; dusting, cleaning, waxing and moving furniture; cleaning doors, fixtures and glass surfaces including windows, door glass, framed pictures; cleaning and disinfecting lavatories, rest rooms and locker rooms; and collecting trash, flattening boxes and placing them into a dumpster; loading and unloading shipments of supplies, materials, and equipment; and light grounds keeping, including, raking, planting and trimming of plants, shrubs, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 17 years of age; ability to properly use all types of commercial vacuum cleaners, stripping and buffing machines and any special tool or piece of equipment assigned for the performance of duties and; the ability top lift up to 25 lbs.
Should possess the ability to perform the essential functions, work independently, follow directions, and take initiative in assisting co-workers as needed.
