    Job SummaryThis position is responsible to assist the Public Works Department
    • Facilities Division with the planning and coordination of maintenance/service and repair all of city owned Heating and Cooling equipment.
    The work is performed under the direction of the Internal Services Supervisor and Facilities Foreman.

    Minimum Required QualificationsVocational diploma in HVAC.Minimum of (3) years of HVAC Install experience; both retro-fit and new constructionAny combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

    Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for eligibility of City coverage.
    Preferred QualificationsEPA Universal certification preferred.
    Knowledge and understanding of geothermal well systems.

    The pay rate will be $34.36 per hour (~$71,468.80 annually) which is anticipated to increase retroactively to 5/1/2024 following contract negotiations with Local 150 for a successor contract.
