Job Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the work quality and productivity of all facilities maintenance employees. They will delegate assignments to the appropriate employees/team members and ensure that tasks are completed in adherence to company standards. Above all, the Maintenance Supervisor will make certain that the warehouse is a clean and safe environment for employees.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and Supervise: Manage daily Maintenance operations, including general repairs, special projects and coordination with outside contractors. Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Team Coordination: Assist in organizing and directing the activities of a small team to ensure tasks are completed. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor workflow, manage resources, and implement processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Safety Compliance: Ensure team adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions with an analytical approach.
Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between team members, other departments, and upper management.
Additional Responsibilities:
+ As assigned by the Senior Manager
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Experience: Previous experience in a Maintenance supervisory role or a similar position is preferred.
+ Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead by example.
+ Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Problem-Solving: Proactive and capable of addressing issues quickly and effectively.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in facilities management systems, basic computer skills, and advanced knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical wiring, and hand tools
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
+ Minimum 2 years experience in a lead/supervisory position
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional qualifications in Facilities Maintenance, warehouse management, or a related field are a plus .
