    What is the work?

    Recruiting:
    High Volume Recruiting- Hourly Logistics Positions

    • Recruits internal and external candidates
    • Sources candidates through multiple sources (e.g., cold calls, direct recruiting referrals, networking)
    • Reviews resumes; assesses candidates for knowledge, skills, and abilities
    • Conducts firstlevel interviews; makes recommendations to hiring managers; reviews / discusses candidate performance with subsequent interviewers
    • Assists candidates with new hire activities
    • Organizes / executes H-EB participation in job fairs and college recruiting activities
    • Conducts preemployment activities such as drug testing, background / reference checks
    • Develops compensation package, relocation, and offer letter for candidates
    • Uses erecruiting system (e.g., My Career 2.0) to input / extract data as needed
    What is your background?

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field, or comparable experience
    • 0+ years of retail or recruiting experience
    Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an Associate Recruiter at H-E-B?

    • Interviewing, assessment, negotiation, influencing skills
    • Analytical, project management, timemanagement, and organization skills
    • Verbal / written communication and presentation skills
    • PC skills (MS Office and database systems)
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasks; attention to detail
    • Ability to work issues at all levels of H-EB
