The

Construction Project Manager/Estimator-Large Loss

is responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for restoration projects.

This includes assessing damage caused by disasters such as fires, floods, and storms, determining the scope of work required to restore the property to its pre loss condition, and providing cost estimates to clients and insurance companies.

The estimator must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine the scope of work required

Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment required for restoration projects

Ensure that estimates are accurate and reflect the scope of work required to restore the property to its pre loss condition

Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and project managers to ensure that estimates are accepted and work can proceed

Work collaboratively with project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client

Maintain accurate records of all estimates and project-related documentation

Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to restoration work

Attend training sessions, workshops, and other professional development opportunities as required


Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in estimating for large loss restoration or construction projects

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Familiarity with industry software such as Xactimate and T&M Pro

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to restoration work

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
