Principal Product Operations, Product Programs - Greater Boston Area, United States - Toast
Description
Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love.
The Product Operations team is on a mission to enable Product teams at Toast to build in an efficient and scalable way. We sit at the intersection of Product, UX, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and other key stakeholder teams. We support better communication, more efficiency, and a clear connection between business outcomes and day-to-day product work, ultimately creating happy, healthy teams and customers.
As a key member of the Product Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, executing, iterating on, and communicating end-to-end programs that support the Product organization. You are a creative problem solver and excellent collaborator who can partner across functional areas. You have an in-depth understanding of how product teams operate at scale through your prior experience in Product Operations and/or Product Management (both is a plus). You are able to apply systems thinking, a product management mindset, and strong project management skills in order to build effective systems that scale. You exercise strong judgment about the right level of process - just enough to be effective, but not so much that it slows down teams or creates unnecessary overhead. Your communication skills are top notch - you are able to distill complex problems into simple and actionable insights, and you enjoy evangelizing your work.
