    Future Technologies is seeking a Data Link Analyst to join our winning team.     Location: Dam Neck, VA

    Clearance: Must be able to obtain secret clearance

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Identify C4I/interoperability requirements and testing methodologies to ensure various SSDS platforms maintain interoperability standards and the ability to coordinate and direct large scale testing and data analysis efforts during both real time events and post event data analysis events.
    • This position requires the training, skills and experience necessary to conduct advanced tactical data link engineering, analysis and simulation systems operations as well as console operations in both a team and independent environments. The candidate will support all aspects of testing Naval tactical systems and tactical data link (TDL) capabilities of SSDS C4I and combat system/weapon systems to include C2P, CDLMS, MLIU, CEC and SGS.
    • Developing mission oriented and standards conformance test procedures based and test evaluation on the format and transactional requirements in applicable military standards; Performing real-time and post-test analysis.

    NOTE: Shift work and weekends possible.

    Education and requirements:

    • High School diploma with 8 years relevant work experience or; an Associate's Degree with 5 years relevant work experience
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Four (4) years of hands-on operational experience
    • Must be able to obtain a clearance at the SECRET level
    • Support shift work
    • Support a Lab environment
    • Provide support to user community by responding to requests for technical assistance
    • Expect travel two weeks per month

    DESIRED SKILLS

    • Knowledge of the NAVY combat system
    • Knowledge of tactical data link operations
    • Knowledge of TDL message formats and protocols defined in MILSTD
