    This near-term opportunity is ideal for a self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual to provide direct support to the Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO). The successful candidate will provide Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support to an existing portfolio of programs and assist in the development of new programs. Responsibilities include aiding in the preparation of program summary and review briefings and documents (including milestone reviews), program approval documents, and external briefings. Work in SCO facilities with access to classified network will be required. The candidate should have experience communicating and interfacing directly with senior leaders; tracking and completing multiple tasks simultaneously; working independently with little to no supervision; and providing objective, independent critical thinking. The ideal candidate has Aegis, radar, and missile experience, and experience emphasizing DoD Acquisition, program management, resource sponsorship, and/or technical development or testing is a plus. However, individuals with DoD program management or good technical/operational experience should apply for this role.

    Required Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree required, Engineering or technical degree desired.
    • Clearance: TS/SCI
    • Travel: Infrequent local travel and overnight travel may be required.
    • Operational experience in maritime warfare areas

    Desired Experience:

    • 5 or more years of relevant experience
    • Familiarity with DoD and Navy operational and acquisition processes
    • Strong communication skills
    • Tactical experience in air or missile defense, air warfare, or surface warfare
    • Aegis, radar, and missile experience highly desirable
    • Testing & evaluation experience
    • Individuals with operational at sea experience working with technical systems (subsurface, surface, air) in lieu of AEGIS/radar/missile.
