General Description
The Assistant Controller (AC) assists and provides support under the supervision of the Controller with cash management, annual audits, investments, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting.
Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related area.
A minimum of four 4 years' work experience in general accounting areas; including accounts payable, general ledger, and an automated accounting process is required.
A minimum of one-year supervisory experience is also required.The person in this position must be proficient in the use of computers and related software for word processing, spread sheets, and database management.
Excellent written and communication skills are required. The position requires the ability to handle large amounts of data, and handle multiple tasks concurrently with frequent interruptions.Strong analytical and organizational skills, with initiative towards completion of assignments, and excellent follow through skills on all assignments and projects is required.
