POSITION IN A NUTSHELL

Time and Alarm Systems, a Division of SciensBuilding Solutionsis seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly-skilled Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Installerto join our growing team ofprofessionals.Thetechnicianwill perform routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings, andpersonnelanalysis. Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well)

Experienced in fire alarm, voice/data, security, PA, AV, and access control installation.
Complete jobs from start to finish, including cabling, installation and termination of all systems included in the project
Responsible for the profitability of each project assigned to you and the efficiency of Apprentices under your direction.
Completes paperwork, including but not limited to, timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Keeps as-built drawings current.
Responsible to ensure all employees embrace our safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Conduct the training, mentoring and supervision of Apprentices within the company

WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Solid working knowledge of low voltage systems
Two to five years of experience as an installer.
Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications.
Able to work independently
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Goodcommunicationskills.
Have the tools needed to complete jobs
