    Compensation Range: $91,000/yr - $93,000/yr commensurate with experience.

    Overview:

    The Nurse Manager is a licensed professional nurse responsible for the coordination of nursing services to patients enrolled in Health Services. The NM facilitates quality services by providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning and nursing care evaluation. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to staff training, participation in performance evaluations, medical and supply inventory management, patient panel management/clinic patient flow; also provides back up support to the primary care and mental health care teams as needed.

    Responsibilities:
    • The Nurse Manager is a licensed professional nurse responsible for the coordination of nursing services to patients enrolled in Health Services.
    • The NM facilitates quality services by providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning and nursing care evaluation.
    Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Staff training
    • Participation in performance evaluations
    • Medical and supply inventory management
    • Patient panel management/clinic patient flow
    • Also provides back up support to the primary care and mental health care teams as needed.
    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
    • Current registration and active license as a New York State Registered Nurse
    • Experience as a nursing care practitioner
    • CPR certification or completion of certification during employment
    • Fluency in written and spoken English
    • Demonstrated understanding of the needs of clients in treatment for HIV/AIDS and substance abuse
    • Ability to see, hear and speak to clients
    • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
