    Job Description

    General Summary:

    The Vendor Management Associate Director oversees all vendor management activities for Global Regulatory Affairs, including vendor governance, vendor relationship management, performance management, and new vendor selection process. This role will serve as the key interface between Regulatory functional leaders and departmental vendors.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Partner with Regulatory leadership team and key stakeholders to create and manage departmental outsourcing strategy, including ensuring business continuity.
    • Develop and lead vendor oversight plan for function and provide education to ensure ongoing assessment.
    • Orchestrate and participate in all aspects of vendor governance from operational to executive level.
    • Create and monitor KPIs and metrics to document and measure vendor performance and value.
    • Drive operational efficiency to ensure economies of scale and consolidation where possible.
    • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives within vendor relationships, including the development of process documents to standardize process and optimize performance.
    • Partner with Strategic Sourcing and OBIE on contracting process.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Advanced knowledge of vendor management, including strategic sourcing, and financial management.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to drive conflict resolution
    • Organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong collaboration, negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively influence internal or external stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
    • General business management knowledge to assess the impact of project decisions on financial and corporate objectives.
    • Ability to drive firm deadlines.

    Education and Experience:

    • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
    • Typically requires 8 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and Experience
    • Experience within the Life Sciences industry or similar

    1. Hybrid and work remotely up to two days per week; or select
