    Description

    Expo Food Runner Position at The Brigantine Family of Restaurants

    The Expo Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring food orders are promptly and accurately delivered from the kitchen to customers' tables. This individual is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the expo line, organizing order tickets, and effectively communicating with the BOH team. Additionally, they support servers and bussers in delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring the proper upkeep of side stations, floors, furniture, and restrooms.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Setting up the front line with necessary wares and equipment for efficient food service.
    • Restocking the station, cleaning trays, reading order tickets, and maintaining cleanliness.
    • Ensuring dining areas are clean, tables are set, garbage is disposed of, and stations are stocked.
    • Anticipating and exceeding guest and team needs.
    • Following sanitation and safety protocols.
    • Maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
    • Responding promptly to guest and team requests.
    • Ensuring guests are satisfied and addressing any issues.
    • Concluding guests' experiences positively.
    • Completing assigned tasks throughout the shift.
    • Additional duties as required.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Positive, detail-oriented team player comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
    • Prior restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory; training provided.
    • Team player mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and professionalism.
    • Flexibility in scheduling.
    • Physical capabilities to stand, walk, lift, and carry items.
    • Food Handler Certification.
