TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has several immediate openings for Quality Engineers in Lavonia, Georgia. This is a 3 month contract.

Overall PurposeThe Quality Engineer will identify quality problems, change or create new processes to address said issues, and create the necessary documentation.

Director of Operations Indirect : General ManagerResponsibilities(To include but not limited to the following)Client Relationship & Business DevelopmentOperationsCreate/Modify procedures, work instructions, forms, process flows.

Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify quality related issues. Standard work creationCorrective actions (CAPA/CAR) - Error Proofing PFMEA Control Plans Data analysis (SPC)Identify sources of quality problems and design corrective actions that will resolve the issuesImplement continuous improvement techniques/projects to improve customer quality and increase productivityConduct necessary training events for improving quality-related processes and techniquesLiaise between customer and suppliers, leveraging problem solving and quality improvement tools and methodologyProcess auditsOther duties and/or responsibilities as assignedTechnicalComprehension of electrical components and electrical schematicsComprehension level knowledge of complex drawings, engineering specifications, and standardsComprehension level knowledge of ISO TS 16949 and QA-9000 standardsComprehension level knowledge of 5S/8D and root-cause analysisDocumented proficiency in data collection, statistical analysis, and critical business thinkingOperation level knowledge of statistical process control techniquesOperation level knowledge of inspection techniques and measuring and gaging equipmentOperation level knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and FMEAExceptional written communication skillsOtherAny other duties as assignedKnowledge, skills, abilitiesHard skills Values & attitudes
