    Position Overview:

    The Parts Counter Trainee will work closely with an experienced Counter associate. In this role, you will learn the sales process by working with customers over the counter or on the phone. The Parts Counter Associate will be trained to transact retail and wholesale parts sales and promptly address customer inquiries. The Parts Counter Associate gives every customer a positive impression regarding their overall parts experience at the dealership.

    Essential Functions:

    • Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the entire product line
    • Pull purchased parts from stock
    • If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit a particular order if requested by the customer
    • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
    • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
    • Assist Service Technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in the process

    • You are comfortable working on iPads and computers

    Requirements:

    • Be able to lift 25 lbs
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Possess a valid driver's license and favorable motor vehicle record
    • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and a drug test for illegal substances
    • Authorized to work in the United States
