Performs a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services during facility use. Also responsible for routine trash removal and facility clean up. Ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts or holidays in preparing for an event. Ability to perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work in the cleaning and care of the facility.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $ $20.73.

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex, commonly referred to as Greensboro Coliseum (the first and biggest building on the site), is an entertainment and sports complex located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Opened in 1959, the complex holds eight venues that includes an amphitheater, arena, aquatic center, banquet hall, convention center, museum, theatre, and an indoor pavilion. It is the home of the UNC Greensboro Spartans men's basketball team, the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA G League, the Carolina Cobras of the National Arena League, as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with their Men's and Women's basketball tournaments.

• Mix and prepare cleaning products; clean Coliseum interior and exterior; vacuum, sweep, mop, clean and wax floors. Ensures a safe environment for patrons; removes liquids, debris from walkways through the building during events
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures; replenish supplies in restrooms. Wash windows, mirrors, walls and counter tops.
• Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways and Coliseum facilities; empty waste receptables.
• Perform additional staff functions for events

All employees will exercise resource stewardship and report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance with City policies/procedures.

• Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies and equipment. Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.

• Required to successfully complete on site CPR and blood borne pathogen training. Required to follow OSHA and in house safety guidelines.
• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience.
