    The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will serve as a geographically based arm of the sales team focused on retail execution and managing indirect headquarter accounts.

    This position will represent the total Lactalis Heritage Dairy portfolio through pursuing the following business strategies: 1) Ensuring customer agreements are executed and upheld 2) Driving distribution & share growth through shelving, new item, void closure and reset activity; 3) Selling against promotional and incremental opportunities to achieve revenue targets 4) Price monitoring and management; 5) Execution, monitoring, and assistance facilitating customer relationships and performance at store level. 6) Ownership and management of several indirect customer groups as the headquarter contact.
    This TSM position is for AWG Supplied stores and Headquarters in the Beaumont TX Area

    Key responsibilities for this position include:
    Develop and enhance field customer relationships.
    Execute sales and shelving strategies to achieve and surpass revenue, distribution, and share targets for all assigned customers.
    Ensure effective execution of customer agreement and enabler programs.
    Achieve promotional objectives by tactic, price point, drive period, & selling event for their assigned categories and customers.

    Set up contracts for Ad / EDLP Programs including follow-ups to ensure customer bills are paid in a timely manner.

    Work in a team environment with Account Leads and team leadership to maximize growth opportunities.
    Maintain an effective communication process with team to ensure alignment and execution of retail priorities.
    Perform effectively, maintain discipline, and display professionalism under all conditions.
    Carry out multiple, detailed instructions.
    Recognize and anticipate potential safety hazards, follow all safety protocol, and take appropriate precautions.

    Must be able to engage in physical activities necessary to construct displays and stock food products, such as lifting 50 lbs., stretching, reaching, and bending.

    Field sales position does require travel (often 1 hour+) to assigned stores; acceptable driving record (as outlined in Company policy) is required maintain employment.

    Visit and perform assigned tasks in all stores, including the indirect headquarter groups, for the assigned territories.
    The headquarter calls are in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama. A customer's preference varies between virtual and in-person meetings.
    The company provides paid travel when required for customer meetings to include airfare, hotel, and meals.

    Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
    Bachelor's Degree
    1+ years of experience in selling, merchandising, or customer service
    Keen interest in sales and merchandising
    Ability to work with autonomy with minimal supervision.
    Valid Driver's License including a favorable driving record (a driving record will be requested as part of the recruitment process)

    Ability to be present and working in stores as early as 7:30AM Monday - Friday based on business needs.
    Ability to be available to work during the weeks leading up to days of critical business need (key holidays and promotional time periods)

    Solid organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate/negotiate/relationship build with key contacts in assigned territory at all levels of management/associates.

    Ability to use statistical skills to identify/evaluate/communicate category performance and store results/opportunities.
    Ability to travel (up to 45%)
