The Grants Coordinator will assist faculty with understanding and interpreting sponsor guidelines and provide administration support in all aspects of the pre-award process.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:Initiates and manages funding proposals via the Rutgers Research Administration Proposal Submission System (
RAPSS).
Assists faculty with budget development and funding proposal administrative requirements.
Assists in maintaining internal

proposal submission and awards spreadsheet and electronic copy of files on
CABM
Research shared drive.
Coordinates timely notifications/reminders to faculty for all interim and final report due dates.
Responsible for pre-award process and must work closely during the grant submission process with Faculty to ensure all information is accurate, uploaded and submitted to
ORSP
for final review prior to submission to funding agency.
Work closely with
ORSP
through the submission process, tracking & updating the PI on the status.
Provides support in developing grant funding projections for the

Business Office.
Under direction provides support with post award processes including: Award notification in
