    Our Information Security Analyst position will monitor QPS networks for security breaches and investigate when one occurs. Use and maintain software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information. Check for vulnerabilities in computer and network systems.

    The Job
    Able to communicate effectively with other system analysts, system engineers, system/network administrators, and operational users.
    Help engineers with validating and verifying system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs.
    Assist with performing formal vulnerability, penetration testing, data, and network risk assessments.

    Assist with performing or reviewing technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established standards and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.

    Assist with developing, executing, and tracking the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.

    Collaborate with Management (both local and remote), to define, improve, implement, and maintain information security policies, strategies, and procedures.
    Understand software, hardware and internet needs while adjusting them according to our business environment.
    Report possible threats or software issues

    Requirements
    Bachelors Degree in Network Security or

    Computer/Information

    Science or System Management, or equivalent experience.
    A minimum of 3 years overall experience in the information technology field, including
    A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a production corporate IT environment performing network

    administration/management
