Description
H2M Architects Engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm in Wall , NJ seeks a Senior Project Engineer with 7 to 10 years of design experience with specific focus on site development projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and develop construction documents and specifications for a full range of private site development and municipal civil engineering projects.
Coordinate and perform site investigations to assess and document field conditions.
Prepare State and County applications for site development approvals, soil erosion and flood hazard area.
Respond to and address regulatory comments to obtain agency approvals.
Develop site designs, including site layout, grading and storm drainage, roadway, and utility infrastructure.
Prepare engineer's opinion of probable costs for designed projects and specifications for public bids.
Interact with clients including management of project work and financial performance.
Assist in the management and development of technical staff.
Coordinate with the other engineering and architectural departments within the firm.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
New Jersey PE license required.
Strong computer skills with experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
7 to 10 years design experience with a specific focus on site development projects as well as environmental permitting experience.
Prepare capital improvement/construction documents in accordance with local public contracts law.Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices of related technical areas including but not limited to storm-water management and detention basin design.
Self-motivated, capable of working independently or within project teams.Team-spirited, focused and able to make independent decisions
Effective oral and written communication skills.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 annually.
The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications - not related to an y applicant's characteristics protected by local, state or federal law
