    Description

    Job Title: Small Business Financial Specialist

    Company: Leading Financial Institution

    Overview

    Serving small businesses with annual revenues from $250k to $5 million, this position offers comprehensive financial solutions to clients. Responsibilities include meeting customer needs, promoting and selling products, increasing deposits and fee income, reducing expenses, maintaining client relations, and achieving sales goals. Coordination with the Bank Manager for reports and operational functions. Cross-training in all paying, receiving, and collection functions with an emphasis on accuracy and security.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Exceeding revenue goals in a defined market while understanding client financial needs.
    • Actively developing and expanding client relationships for business success.
    • Creating and maintaining a prospect list, engaging in networking, outside sales efforts, and community leadership roles.
    • Growing profitability within the small business client base.
    • Developing deposit and loan relationships, acquiring new businesses, and enhancing existing relationships.
    • Analyzing client financial conditions and recommending tailored financial solutions.
    • Collaborating with other business lines and departments to provide a seamless client experience.
    • Staying informed about marketplace trends for identifying business opportunities.
    • Complying with operational and security policies, ensuring accounting integrity and security.
    • Ensuring accuracy in G/L tickets, reports, and timely deliverables.
    • Responsible for opening and closing the banking center.

    Qualifications

    • 2 - 4 years of work experience and outside sales experience in financial services or small business banking.
    • Proven ability to enhance business financial outcomes by interpreting financial statements.
    • Demonstrated record in prospecting, enhancing relationships, and meeting sales goals.
    • Strong sales skills and client management experience.
    • Capability to assess client financial conditions and industry trends.
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Economics required.
