Title: Financial Analyst

Work Location: Hybrid- Remote/Newark, NJ

Candidate must be able to commute to NJ 2 times a week.

The assignment will start out at Newark, NJ for training, then go Hybrid.

Notes

• This is data position: running standard SAP transactions, downloading data, drilling down to find data, manipulate data
• *Candidate must analytical and good with numbers
• SAP experience preferred, but not required (as Client can train on this)
• *Advance Excel skills- must know how to do VLOOKUP's
• *Comfortable with working with large volumes of data and spreadsheets.
• *No accounting or industry experience required
• *Bachelor's degree required
• *Possible assignment extension based on company needs and contractor's performance

Duties:

• The position will be responsible for extracting data from the SAP Financial system, updating schedules and performing some analytics to support responses to Distribution rate cate discovery as well as the upcoming 2023 Transmission Formula Rate True-Up.
• The individual may also support the month end financial closes particularly with respect to regulatory accounting postings and analysis.
• The person should have very strong communication and analytical skills particularly with respect to EXCEL and ACCESS.
• The person should also be comfortable in handling large amounts of data.
