    Position: Engineer, Sr Acoustic

    • Completing acoustic designs for various transducer product lines
    • Supporting failure analysis and implementing design enhancements
    • Evaluating acoustic devices, components, and assemblies to enhance and develop transducer products
    • Stimulating innovation by exploring emerging acoustic technologies and integrating them into transducer products

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Offering acoustic expertise for both current and upcoming engineering projects
    • Coordinating internal product research and failure analysis to enhance the acoustical performance
    • Assisting in specifying, selecting, and qualifying acoustical components for internal processes
    • Serving as the technical authority on acoustics and test systems for engineering teams
    • Participating in design qualification testing
    • Assisting in setting test system project priorities and assigning tasks to team members

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics required. A Master's or Ph.D. with a focus on Acoustics or relevant industrial experience preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years' experience in transducer design and manufacturing.

    Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Ability to design and optimize acoustic transducers. Proficiency in developing acoustic test methods. Strong statistical and analytical skills. Self-motivated, well-organized, and good time management skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Experience with acoustical materials characterization and transducer mechanical design preferred. Knowledge of transducer modeling, including KLM or finite element analysis, is a plus. Understanding of signal processing algorithms is beneficial.
