Position Description:
The Department of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is looking for qualified candidates to join the Division of Liver and Pancreas Transplantation at the Assistant/Associate Professor level on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities for this role include multi-organ transplantation, donor procurement, patient care, teaching, and research.
Candidates should have an M.D. degree or equivalent, completed training in abdominal transplantation, be board certified or board eligible in general surgery, eligible for California medical licensure, and have experience in liver, pancreas, and intestinal transplantation and multi-organ procurement. The ideal candidate will possess superior clinical skills, a history of peer-reviewed research publications, and a dedication to teaching. Board certification and critical care practice are desirable.
