    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a Principal Support Equipment Project Engineer to our team in El Segundo, CA

    Applicants will be responsible to ensure that Support Equipment requirements are coordinated with Integrated Product Team members, as well as with subcontractors and using customers.

    Candidates must be eager to learn, self- motivated and possess excellent interpersonal, and communication skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office tool suite.

    Plans and executes schedules for engineering package development and approval cycle to meet mission needs
    Technical impact assessment, planning and strategy for change implementation
    Travel required up to 25% of time.

    Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field with 5 years of experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience.

    Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years as well as Program Special Access.

    Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

    Ability to understand engineering challenges, coordinate with NG Engineering team in identifying paths for resolution, and driving engineering execution.

    Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and development life cycle.
    Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.)
    Presentation experience with the ability to present to project and program management, other technical managers, and customers.
    Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and Support Equipment.
    ~ Experience with CATIA and familiarity with the TeamCenter release tool
    ~ Experience with JIRA, CPLM, or other configuration management tools
    ~ Excellent technical writing skills, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    ~1 year of project management experience
