Constructive Systems Specialist Senior

Our mission heavily relies on a Constructive Systems Specialist Senior to directly impact the training readiness of our Army's deployable units and Soldiers.
HOW THE CONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEMS SPECIALIST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Leads the Mission Training Complex (MTC) technical simulation support effort by installing, configuring, and operating the necessary operating system(s), security, and simulation software for establishing the directed constructive training environment.
- Manages the simulation training environment utilizing provided government hardware and software to support the event's simulation control plan accurately.
- Submits and tracks system/software anomalies reported by the MTC to system developers for correction, including follow-up integration/application of corrective actions/patches.
- Guides unit representatives and field support representatives in comprehending how simulations will integrate into the C4I networks to offer stimulation.
- Maintains essential information assurance protocols in simulation/stimulation systems, including system lockdown procedures, operating system patches, and simulation/stimulation software patches.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
BS or BA degree, any subject, or equivalent relevant experience
Required Experience:
At least 8 years of experience or equivalent in integrating constructive training environments, planning network and simulation architectures, and stimulating Army MCISs to support unit training events and distributed exercises.
- Experience in technical support and training requirements at Brigade or higher levels of Army units.
Required Technical
Skills:
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks and protocols.
- Knowledge and experience with the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and low overhead simulation drivers (LOTS, DEXTRS, DFSTS).
Required Certifications:
IAT Level II and Computing Environment Certifications (Security+ or higher)
Security Clearance Level:
Secret Clearance required initially
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to thrive in demanding Army training exercises with Soldiers & Leaders.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends for training events and exercises.
