    We are currently seeking a Customer Account Specialist for our Sugar Land, Texas facility.


    The Customer Account Specialist is responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships both internal and external by handling orders, questions, and concerns with professionalism.


    Additional responsibilities include researching problems to help troubleshoot customer or order problems.

    General responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Manage customer orders and artwork, manage customer expectations, resolve crisis situations, work with scheduling and logistics to satisfy delivery dates, and maintain master specifications.
    • Receive, acknowledge, and process customer orders within 24 hours of receipt.
    • Track order activity, and alert appropriate parties of potential delivery problems
    • Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the order process and understanding of more complicated customer delivery processes, such as vendor managed inventory, third party orders, and consignment.
    • Proactively identify issues and opportunities to communicate internally and externally.
    • Maintain an ongoing relationship with sales, production, accounting, and other departments
    The ideal candidate shall possess the following:


    • High School Diploma or GED required, College degree, B.A., preferred.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a corporate customer service environment, non-call center related, Exposure to inventory management and controls.
    • Proficient in Excel, Strong written and oral communication, possess superior interpersonal skills, Proven ability to work in a multi-tasking fast paced environment Experience with manufacturing software, Navision a plus.
    This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

    The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to grasp small items, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
