Job TitleSurface Warfare/AEGIS SMELocationVirginia Beach, VA 23451 US (Primary)Position Summary and Job ResponsibilitiesPosition SummaryBGI is seeking a motivated individual for part-time employment with an Surface Warfare AEGIS Combat System background to support ongoing technical activities for an advanced synthetic training environment project in Virginia Beach, VA.Work will include applying subject knowledge to investigate, analyze, plan, research, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the use of modeling and simulation tools and/or stimulation products.
The candidate should be able to apply expert knowledge in a modeling and simulation environment, to include instances of test and evaluation.
The individual will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise while acting as a liaison with customer representatives to ensure requirements are satisfied.
A general understanding of systems engineering processes is preferred.Travel to customer sites is required to include attendance at technical reviews and software integration and test with industry partners.
This position will serve as the customer's direct interface with the end users (warfighters); therefore, presentations and product demonstrations with high-level customers is required.
Travel to industry trade shows is a possibility.Job Requirements:
High School and/or college degree from an accredited institution8 years of experience in the development of advanced technology for sensor simulation and stimulation or modeling and simulation applications or military equivaentPrevious experience as Surface Warfare / AEGIS Combat System operatorCurrent SECRET security clearanceRequired and/or Preferred Qualifications
