    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Floor Technician with expertise in waxing and stripping floors.

    The main goal of this job role is to carry out the daily tasks of the Housekeeping Department following the established standards and regulations to ensure the nursing care facility is clean, safe, and enjoyable. Here are some key responsibilities:

    • Perform assigned housekeeping functions daily
    • Adhere to work/cleaning schedules diligently
    • Clean and polish various surfaces daily as instructed
    • Sanitize bathroom fixtures and ensure water marks are eliminated
    • Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and carpets regularly
    • Wash walls and ceilings, and remove dirt from surfaces using proper solutions
    • Properly dispose of waste and keep work areas clean
    • Clean vacant rooms and ensure overall cleanliness and organization
    • Any other tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Administrator

    Requirements:

    • Preferable training in environmental control practices and procedures
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Ability to follow instructions on cleaning compounds mixing
    • Maintain supplies and equipment, and inspect resident rooms regularly
