- Oversees all facets of the daily operations of the office including course registration, grade processing, transcript review, clearance for graduation, and petitions.
- Serves as the direct supervisor to the Academic Records Coordinator and the Academic Records Coordinator and VA Certifying Official
- Participates in the development, implementation policies, objectives, and short and long-range planning.
- Assists in developing the Office of the Registrar's communication strategy that supports the flow of communication from the office to faculty and students.
- Serves as a member of the Commencement planning team, attending the event to oversee the distribution of diplomas.
- Conducts data analysis and quality reviews, ensuring compliance with all institutional, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
- Acts as liaison with the Office of Admission on all issues related to transfer admission.
- Advises students and faculty on academic policies.
- Attains and maintains a working knowledge of the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and assists in the training of college staff pertaining to these regulations and procedures, and related data entry requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least two (2) years of experience in higher education; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with an ERP such as Banner, Colleague, and CRM such as Slate Technolutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with faculty and students.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems and to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
- Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of others.
- Ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.

As the Associate Registrar, you will work to ensure a culture of continuous improvement related to student service, faculty engagement, and policy and regulatory adherence.
The Associate Registrar possesses strong technical skills and a demonstrated ability to leverage technology in the improvement of office procedures.
