We're growing, and looking for a positive, fun, articulate, and results oriented individual to join our team at the front desk.
Highlights:
This position is 80% client facing, 20% phone facing.
This is a full time phone position:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pmCompensation is hourly starting at $25 to $27+ per hour, depending on experience.
Estimated annual compensation would be $55,000+.This is a career track position, advancing to other opportunities within the organization.
General Responsibilities:
Greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling, and confirming appointmentsEntering patient information into the office systemExplaining the basics of health insurance cost share and collecting patient balancesCollect and post payments, including credit card transactionsTrack and report assigned metricsOther duties as assigned, including ongoing team education and developmentAll duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies and proceduresQualificationsRequired :Must be a people person with a great attitude and attention to detailStrong telephone, communication and time management skillsEducation: Associates Degree, or higherExperience: One (1) year ofmedical front office and / or administrative experiencePreferred :2-5 years ofprogressively responsible, medical front office experienceEnglish / Spanish bilingual is a plus to better serve the communityKnowledge of MacOS, G-Suite, and Cisco Phone ConsoleUnderstanding of health insurance claims and procedures is desiredWhy Should You Apply?San Mateo Podiatry Group offers employment opportunities that promote professional, personal, and financial growth.
