About LabCorp:
LabCorp is currently recruiting for a Specimen Accessioner to join the Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Oak Creek, WI.

Position Overview:

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• No direct experience necessary; 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Previous exposure to medical or production environments is a bonus
• Comfortable with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience with teamwork
• Strong data entry and organizational abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Passing score on a standardized color blind test
