About the Company:
The Channing/Harvard Cohorts Biorepository (CHCB) is responsible for managing biospecimens from some of the most extensive longitudinal cohorts globally, including the Nurses' Health Study (I, II, and III), the Health Professionals Follow-up Study, Growing Up Today Study, and the Physician's Health Study I. With over 3 million research biospecimens under safe storage and thousands of specimens distributed annually, CHCB plays a crucial role in advancing research.
General Overview:
The Lab Aide will be involved in laboratory work and office tasks within the CHCB, working under the guidance of the Senior Biobank Manager, Collections Manager, and Distribution Project Manager. Responsibilities include processing newly collected samples, preparing samples for distribution, and participating in infrastructure projects.
