    Description
    Major Responsibilities
    • Load and unload trucks both manually and with assist of lift trucks
    • Check in hardware and other non-hardware items such as furniture, paper products, office products, etc.
    • Forklift operation
    • Label hardware per receiving sheet and separate for each specific job
    • Pull stock for sales orders
    • Safely balance and secure load on the truck. Effectively maneuver the truck in and out of the job sites and loading docks
    • Ship confirm bills of lading after delivery
    • Identify mechanical problems and/or unsafe conditions associated with the truck, the road and/or the job site
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma, Tech School Diploma/Certificate; and at least two years related experience and/or training
    • Experience driving a 26 ft. box truck a plus
    • Basic computer experience required
    • Good communication and customer service skills
    • A willingness to learn and positive attitude
    • Valid driver's license with safe driving record - CDL not required
