    NSI requires an Aerial Refueling Store Technician to support PMA 201 Program Office
    The Technician will perform various precision assembly, test and evaluation operations on complex Hydraulic, mechanical, and electric components, assemblies, and systems supporting A/A42R-1 Aerial Refueling Store (ARS) used by the US Navy
    Establish procedures, processes, and techniques to resolve assembly and testing procedures
    Perform various disassembly, assembly, and preparation operations to prepare ARS for testing at the Depot level of maintenance
    This will include identifying internal components of the ARS to ensure all installed items meet the configuration requirements of the required configuration of ARS and identifying any missing or incorrect components
    The assembly activity may utilize a variety of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to obtain desired build requirements
    Test operations may include setting up and performing operational tests of assembled products
    Technicians are guided in their duties by applicable Area Supervisor/Project Manager as well as repair manuals, Military Standards, NSI's AS9120 quality program, drawings, parts lists and provide detailed written communication defining performance results and/or situational circumstances
    Provide input to management regarding process issues and potential efficiency improvements
    Participate in development of future bids for similar work
    Identifies tool, equipment and facility deficiencies as well as develop and define performance metrics to support company goals
    Provide oversight and direction to other technicians as required
    Assist in the receipt, packing and shipping of said items
    Train other technicians in the operation of equipment and the repair of specific components as required
    Comply with applicable OSHA and all NSI safety regulations
    Comply with applicable Hazardous Material/Waste and tool control procedures
    Maintain shop order and cleanliness and other duties deemed necessary by the area supervisor

    Location:

    Jacksonville, FL Education:
    High School Graduate

    Experience:
    A minimum of four years' experience in organizational or intermediate level military maintenance of ARS or equivalent commercial experience

    Desired Skillset:
    Ability to perform precise mechanical procedures and above average knowledge of electricity and electronics
    Good basic math and communication skills
    Ability to develop repair procedures and directives including blueprints and schematics
    Temperament suitable for tedious nature of work
    Must possess a high mechanical aptitude
    Proficiency in the operation of hand tools as well as common mechanical or electronic test equipment used to test, troubleshoot, and repair ARS

    Basic computer & office skills required:
    MS word, excel, ADOBE

    Security Clearance:
    Secret Clearance is required
    Must be a U.S
    citizen
