    Burrow Global Automation is looking for Control System Engineers with proficiencies in Process Control and Safety Systems for development and support of clients' process control systems and operational technology.

    Development services pertain to the in-office engineering design, documentation, and configuration on E, EP & EPC projects, as well as, Automation projects for upgrades, expansions and migrations.

    Support services will be onsite and vary from small changes related to maintenance; to projects such as upgrades, process optimizations, expansions and other related tasks.

    Responsibilities

    Primarily responsible for design, development, and installation of control systems and related deliverables.
    Leads portions of automation project scope under the direction of Project Engineer, Project Manager or Senior Automation Engineer.
    Participate in capital projects, new installations, testing, and modernization projects for new systems. May contribute to multiple projects at once.
    Apply knowledge of control system hardware types, uses, and limitations to the benefit of our clients.
    Participate in Business Development activities with key clients and target clients.
    Meet with clients as a subject matter expert and represent Burrow Global in a professional manner.
    Provide technical support, problem solving, maintenance, modifications, and continuous improvement for process control systems.
    Travel to domestic client sites may be up to 25-50%

    Key Skills

    Comprehensive understanding of control systems documentation (e.g. P&ID's, Cause and Effects, Control System Architecture, I/O Index, etc).
    Understanding of Control System networks and connectivity
    Experience with multiple project phases (e.g. FEL, Detailed Engineering and Commissioning/Start-Up)
    Familiarity with relevant Automation industry standards (e.g. NEC, NFPA 72, 85, 86, IEC61511, IEC 61508, API 14C, and UL508A)
    Excellent Communication Skills
    System integration experience with PLCs and other third party devices.
    Understanding of chemical/refining processes and applications.
    Comfortable with both in office and plant environments.
    Ability to deal with uncertainty and pressure.
    Works well with others, within a team, and takes accountability.
    Organized, with strong computer literacy skills such as MS Project, Excel, Visio, Power Point, etc.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Instrument, Computer Engineering or similar discipline (or equivalent technical experience)
    5-15 years of experience in the Automation field with hands on experience with one or more control or safety instrumented system platforms (e.g. Honeywell, Emerson, Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, etc)
    5-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals or adjacent markets
    Legally authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship
