    We are looking for a competitive Insurance Sales Representative to help us expand our business by actively seeking and acquiring new clients. We are seeking innovative, forward thinking, self-motivated, and tenacious individual with a strong sales background. To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organized, detail oriented and have a strong knowledge base and background in the Insurance arena.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones
    • Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc.
    • Appraise the wishes and demands of business or individual customers
    • Collect information from clients on their risk profiles in order to offer them the proper solution
    • Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales and terms and keep relative records
    • Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge and apply it on the field
    • Effectively communicate with customers, internal staff, and management
    • Ability to set, meet, and exceed sales goals
    • Write business correspondence using correct grammar, spelling and word usage.
    • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
    • Be proficient in personal computer skills, including Internet, e-mail, record keeping, database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets
    SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
    • Proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative, both personal and commercial lines of business
    • Good comprehension of insurance plans including automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc.
    • Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings
    • Goal-oriented
    • Excellent skills in communication and presentation
    • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
    • Can consistently prospect for future customers with a positive attitude.

    • Be able to work with sales quotas
    • Sales experience required (2 year or greater)
    License/Certification ad Education:
    • 220 Florida Insurance License (Required)
    • Bachelor's Degree or greater preferred
    Competitive compensation package with initial base plus commission.
