    Description
    Runnings has a career opportunity a Distribution Center Splitter in our newly acquired Kentland, IN location. This position will report directly to the Distribution Center Receiving Lead and Supervisor.


    The Distribution Center Splitters are responsible for the receiving in and preparation of products for shipment to the retail locations.


    Pay Range:
    $17-$20 per hour


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Assist in the unloading of LTL, FTL, and floor loaded deliveries.
    Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
    Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
    Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
    Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
    Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
    Cross check quantities to packing slip, making necessary notations when needed.
    Load merchandise onto proper pellet, shrink wrap when necessary.
    Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.


    OTHER DUTIES
    Other duties as assigned and needed for facility operations and deadlines.
    May require travel to assist in other facilities or for training.


    MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Computer skills required
    Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
    Long periods of standing
    Frequent bending and twisting
    Basic math skills
    Ability to work well with others and independently.
