    At Stanbridge University, we are on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Career Services Associate to join our exceptional team. As a Career Services Associate, you will have the exciting opportunity to provide unwavering assistance and inspiration to students and alumni in their quest for a thriving career, refining job search tactics, and expanding professional horizons. You will play a pivotal role in guiding students through resume crafting, interview mastery, effective job search strategies, and invaluable networking prospects. Additionally, building enduring connections with employers will enable you to spot the perfect job openings and facilitate seamless job placements for our deserving students and graduates.

    Requirements:

    • Provide career counseling and coaching to students and alumni, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to identify job opportunities and establish partnerships for job placement.
    • Stay updated on current industry trends and job market to provide accurate and relevant career guidance.
    • Plan and organize career development workshops, job fairs, and networking events.
    • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development and job preparation into the curriculum.
    • Maintain accurate records of student and alumni career development activities and job placements.
    • Assist with the creation and distribution of career-related resources, such as job search guides and industry-specific materials.
    • Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in career services.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • Prior experience in career services, counseling, or related field preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of career development theories and job search strategies.
    • Familiarity with resume writing, interview preparation, and networking techniques.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers and industry professionals.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • $ $23.00/hr. (Salary is dependent upon EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE.)

    Work Environment:

    • Standard office/classroom/lab or clinical setting.
    • Typically, duties are performed in an office/classroom/Lab/clinical setting environment while sitting at a desk or computer workstation.
    • Work environment may include skills lab or bedside environments as required by the program.
    • An incumbent is subject to contact with others, frequent interruptions, noise from talking or office equipment and demanding timelines.

    Physical Demands:

    • The incumbent regularly sits for long periods, walking short distances on a regular basis.
    • Physical ability to perform the duties as assigned to the program or department.
    • Uses hands and fingers to operate an electronic keyboard or other office machines; reaches with hands and arms; speaks clearly and distinctly to answer telephones and to provide information; sees to read fine print and operate computer; hears and understands voices over telephone and in person; and lifts, carries, and/or moves objects weighing up to 10-25 pounds.
