    Do you have experience in powder coating? Are you passionate about producing quality work? Our painters are responsible for operating all powder application equipment, including powder guns, hoppers, and powder booths while painting various shapes and sizes of metal products on a moving conveyor line.

    Requirements:

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Work with the Production Lead to ensure all parts are properly painted and work instructions are followed precisely.
    • Prepare and visually inspect parts to ensure quality parts will be added to paint line as needed.
    • Efficiently set up and safely operate all production equipment while maintaining set quality standards.
    • Make needed adjustments to the painting process to ensure quality parts are produced.
    • Maintain powder levels in production paint hoppers throughout the day.
    • Clean powder booths and remove waste powder.
    • Maintain attention to detail and focus on given task.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

    Requirements:

    • Powder coating experience.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
    • Ability to perform maintenance required for powder paint line equipment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
    • Ability to read and understand work orders.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality.
    • Ability to work overtime when needed.

    Physical/Mental Requirements:

    • Work requires bending, lifting, reaching.
    • Work is performed in a production environment where there will be noise.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
