    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level or Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA, El Segundo, CA, Long Beach, CA, Mesa, AZ, Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO.

    This role is part of a team that is responsible for transforming and modernizing our supply chain capabilities. We're looking for individuals who have experience with supplier qualification and risk management, quality agreements, receiving inspection, and/or performance monitoring & reporting to join the team and focus on our supplier quality capabilities and processes.

    Position Responsibilities - Mid-Level 3:

    • Analyzes post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases.
    • Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution action.
    • Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
    • Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs.
    • Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
    • Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
    Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 4:
    • Leads and administers post production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material.
    • Leads activities for economy of purchases.
    • Leads and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.
    • Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
    • Initiates recommendations for repair sourcing decisions.
    • Oversees the processing and documentation of repair items and warranties.
    • Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews.
    • Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
    This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

    This position is for 1st shift.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Three or more years of experience in Supplier Quality processes
    • Three or more years of experience in using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, and Power Point
    • Three or more years of experience developing and implementing process improvements
    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • Bachelor's degree or higher.
    • Mid-Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Three or more years of experience do you in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management
    Typical Education/Experience:

    Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

    Experienced Level 4: Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

    Relocation:

    Travel:

    Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Level 3 Summary pay range: $80,750 - $107,100

    Level 4 Summary pay range: $102,000 - $134,000
