Description
Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist to join our industrial production team. You will set up various tools and equipment to create, modify, or repair precision parts. During production, you must monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications. Accuracy is crucial to our production, so all candidates must have attention to detail and be extremely focused on their work.
Our machines are mainly gantry style with beds ranging from 80 to 450 feet. The majority of the machines are multi spindle (3 to 5 spindles), 5 axis with Siemens 840D, Siemens 2100 and Cincinnati 950 acromatic controls.
The majority of our products are produced from titanium and aluminum with tolerances ranging from +/-.0075 to +/-.010.
Job Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
•High School diploma or GED -OR- in lieu of a degree 3 years of manufacturing experience will be considered.
•1+ years of experience working with precision measuring equipment, gages and hand tools to assure quality standards are maintained is preferred.
•1+ years of experience working with machining of various metallic and composite materials.
•Ability to read blueprints and/or other drawings and meet inspection requirements in accordance with customer specifications.
•U.S. Persons per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
•GKN Experience
•Experience working with hazardous materials and/or chemicals
•Uses intermediate shop mathematics including algebra and geometry to determine and check angles, radii, hole locations, accessibility, missing dimensions, interrelated dimensions, etc.
•Must be willing to work in a repetitive production environment with concern for meeting cost, quality and schedule requirements. The ability to work as a team player as well as independently is required.
